Question: How much are these Tommy Armour Beryllium Copper golf clubs worth?
I am having a very difficult time finding details on the clubs I own and would like to sell. They were made in the same era as the highly sought after Ping BeCu clubs, but you can find quite of few of those for sale on eBay as well as discussions online.
This is what I see on the clubs:
- “Tommy Armour” on the bottom of the club along with the club # (2, 3, etc.)
- it is a full set from 2-10(PW) and a SW
- In the club cavity the wording”T-Line” and “Designer’s Model”
- Graphite shafts.
- not sure about the grips, could be original or could be re-gripped.
- I am the 2nd owner as far as I know. I purchased them in 1992 from a PGA professional.
I am not nearly good enough to be playing these clubs and want to sell them, but I have no clue on their value. I do know it is difficult to find them or even information on them, so I would classify them as “rare”.

I’m in high school and I’ve been playing golf for about a year and a half now. I shoot around 100 and sometimes 90s on easier courses. I’m 5′ 11” and weigh about 150 lbs and I can drive my old R7 taylormade driver about 210-220s but very inconsistent (about 50% of the time) and my 5 iron about 150. I seriously want to start expanding my game and take lessons again but I don’t know what clubs I need to buy. I heard that “game improvement clubs” are what I need but I’m not sure exactly what type of clubs those are. Exact information on models, shafts and lengths would be great. Price is not a factor. Thanks.

I want you people to tell me if you know of a gay country club anywhere in the U.S. When I say “gay country club” i don’t mean a gay bar that plays country music! I’m talking about a classy place where gays can come together and play golf, tennis, dine, converse, etc. It doesn’t have to just be a gay country club it can be a straight one that is very GAY FRIENDLY too. I know these places exist in the U.S. but where are they??
The reason why I’m asking is because I’m tired of going to gay bars where low class dumb asses all go to find sme ass and spread AIDS and give the gay community a bad stereotype. I want to meet a classy man that likes me for who I am and isn’t perverted!!

I doubt all people in gay bars are perverted your just spreading yourself too thin perhaps you need to try different bars & for your country club question I highly doubt it I never heard of gay country clubs..it seems kind of pointless since there arent that many rich gay people in the first place. Try a dating website if your looking for a rich classy gay guy. You make it seem like every gay guy is trashy unless they have money

I went on the web and was looking at “Irons” and then there are wedges and putters and all these other kinds. What “clubs” do I need to get for him. Would an Irons package have everything he needs or do I have to buy wedges and putters and drivers seperate???

Seriously, get him a Big Bertha Driver.
Expensive? Sadly. A great club? Without a doubt.
A golf set consists of two to four drivers, 8 irons (numbered 2-9) a pitching wedge, a sand wedge (if you want to really specialize) and a putter.
The problem is that golf clubs are so finicky, you may need to take him to a place to get fitted properly.
