Need Help With Science Fair Project!?

Question: Need Help With Science Fair Project!?
Okay, I need 5 quality sources that tell about “How High Can You Throw A Baseball, Tennis Ball, And Golf Ball?” My grade is an F! I would really appreciate it if you answered me. 3 or less is enough I need to get this information before Nov. 15, 2010. I’m in 7th grade if your wondering. Thanks

How high can you throw a ball? It would depend on how strong you are.(Force) How fast you can throw. (Initial speed) Angle of throw. (Trajectory) Weight of the object…drag of the object! Many factors.

For a science fair…maybe you should get a buddy and do some real-time testing! See if you can throw different balls as high as the school or something and record your findings. Start by weighing the different balls. Maybe you can work out the force by doing bench-press and cutting the total weight you can press by two, for the strength of one arm. Speed of throw could be calculated with a timing light and a video camera, as long as you know the pulse rate of the light and the frame rate of the camera.

Put on your thinking cap!

Definitely “Why does water expand when it is frozen?” It sounds more scientific and general. You may also want to expermiment on different chemecals, and record their expansion rate.
